Beginning drumset students will need:
• one pair of size 2B drumsticks
• one pair of size 5A drumsticks
• Alfred's Beginning Drumset Method
• manuscript paper notebook (standard 5-line staff paper, spiral-bound preferred)
• practice pad
• metronome (or a metronome smartphone app)
• drumset to be practicing on at home
• hearing protection (any type, as long as the drum volume getting to your ears is reduced a significant number of decibels . . . 20+dB preferred: soft earplugs; over-ear headphones; etc.)
The required materials needed for intermediate/advanced drumset lessons, world percussion lessons, etc. will vary depending on the student's level, needs and interests. Contact me to discuss our options.
